Q: ARE YOU OPEN RAIN OR SHINE?
A: YES We usually stay open even if it rains. If we do have to close due to weather we will post the notice on our Facebook page
Q: Is the Dead End Hayride wheelchair accessible?
A: In order to accommodate your group, reservations need to be made. Please contact us via phone. We will do our best to accommodate your party. Once you contact us will discuss over the details of attending The Dead End Hayride.
Q: How long is the wait?
A: Fridays and Saturdays mid to late October will be busy. You can enjoy a shorter wait by purchasing a Fast Pass Ticket. These tickets WILL sell out on certain nights! We recommend purchasing in advance via ONLINE. Coming on a Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday usually have very minimal wait times at a discounted price! Plan to arrive early on our peak nights or later right before our ticket booth closes.
Q: When are the lines the shortest?
A: Lines are shortest on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and right at our opening time of 7pm. Showing up 30 min before our ticket booth closes also offers a shorter wait time!
Q: Can my kids come?
A: The Dead End hayride can be very frightening and is not recommended for children. Due to the nature of the show, children must be at least 10 years old to go through the attraction. We recommend 13 and older due to our show containing moving props, unpredictable crowds and confined spaces.
Q: I purchased a ticket online and don’t have a printer!
A: That is just fine! You can pull it up on your smartphone and we will scan it right from there!
Q: Will the monsters touch me?
A: We are an interactive haunted attraction and our guests are part of the show. Monsters will touch you BUT rest assured, they will not touch you inappropriately or in sensitive areas.
Q: I am pregnant, can I attend?
A: We highly recommend not coming as a safety precautions due to moving props, unpredictable crowds and confined places. Come next year when baby isn’t on board!
Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: You can purchase your tickets with MasterCard, Visa, or American Express credit cards. There is also a cash machine on site for your convenience.
Q: What is included with your ticket purchase?
A: When you purchase a ticket, you are actually getting tickets to three attractions: the haunted hayride, the haunted trail (much like a haunted house- except that it’s outside, in the middle of the woods), and the haunted cornfield. Once you are done getting scared, feel free to hang out awhile because there is a DJ, bonfires, and a mechanical bull for you to enjoy.
Q: How long does it take to go through?
A: This really depends on what day you attend and how busy we are! It typically takes 45 to 60 minutes to go through the entire attraction once on the hayride. Our wait times for 2016 varied from no wait to 2.5 hours.
Q: Do you have Security and Police onsite
A: Yes. We do have security and police presence on site to keep our guests safe. We can and will ask you to leave if we feel it is necessary. We do not tolerate aggressive or belligerent behavior because it puts the safety of our guests and staff at risk. You will be asked to leave if we see that you’re under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Q: Do you sell food, beverages and souvenirs at your attraction?
A: Yes, we have multiple food and drink options including cheese curds, mini donuts, and hot chocolate. We also have some awesome Dead End apparel that is available to purchase. We DO NOT however sell alcoholic beverages and do not permit alcohol on the property.
Q: Do you have group discounts?
A: Yes, all group tickets are sold in quantities of 20+ guest. All Group tickets must be purchased in one transaction via ONLINE. We do not have a group discount at the door. For a greater group discount please see our group pricing for Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
Q: NO REFUNDS, Read before you buy!
A: Our refund Policy is much like buying a concert or movie ticket. There are no refunds. We have a limited number of spots for certain nights. Please carefully select the desired date you would like to come. If we close due to unsafe weather conditions we will post it on our Facebook page. Keep in mind we have closed only once in the last 6 years. Also, we do not give refunds for lost tickets while waiting in line. Keep track of your tickets or you will be charged full price to repurchase a ticket to attend. There will be no refunds for being too scared or frightened. We are an interactive haunted attraction. Our job is to frighten and put on an entertaining show.
Q: I bought a ticket online and can’t attend. What should I do?
A: You may sell it to someone of your choice if you cannot attend. There will be no refunds. If the ticket is not in a different name then the person attending that is just fine as you don’t need ID to redeem the ticket. If purchasing an actual Paper ticket please note that if there is a hole punched in the ticket it is not valid and has been used. The Dead End Hayride is not responsible for any outside sales between third parties.
